she's my bestfriend, but…pt2

After having dinner with my bestfriend and her family I call it a night and head back to my hotel room. An hour later I get a phone call it’s my bestfriend and we talk for 2 hours. I go to bed and I wake up at 6 a.m. as the hotel tell phone is ringing off the hook. I answer it at not much to my surprise it’s my bestfriends father. He’s on his was to work and he was wondering if we could meet for coffee and talk. At 6 a.m. I don’t want to meet for coffee so I told him I would take him to lunch later that day. He tells me he wants to call off and spend the day with me but asking me over a cup of coffee seemed more appropriate. I told him I would love to spend the day with him and told him to make his call then come to the hotel. I gave my bestfriend an excuse about having to take care of some business for my job and told her I would see her the following day.
